Problems Reported with Modern Warfare 2's Matchmaking

After the recent fix of the "javelin glitch" a new problem has arisen with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. There is a matchmaking malfunction.

The bug in question seems to be droping players into private matches during playlist searches. When Penny Arcade's Gabe tweeted about the problem, "tried to play some MW2 tonight and the matchmaking is all kinds of [f***] up. We kept getting dumped into private games with 18 people." Infinity Ward's Robert "fourzerotwo" responded via Twitter, "Yep. Aware and there is already a fix in the works. I'll keep you posted as things progress."

Hopefully after this fix MW2 will be, more or less, problem free from here on out.
