Modern Warfare 2 Javelin Glitchless on all Platforms

Killing your enemies in Modern Warfare 2 can now be done without fear of a explosion being triggered due to the now infamous javelin glitch

The glitch in question allows players to arm a javelin and upon death the weapon detonates killing nearby players. Until now, the exploitation of the glitch has earned suspensions of Xbox Live accounts.

Microsoft's Major Nelson announced via his twitter the patch for the glitch on the Xbox 360.

This just in: The Title Update that addresses the #MW2 javelin exploit will go live early Friday morning (PT.)

The javelin Glitch was fixed earlier in the week on both the PC and the Playstation 3 versions but due to Microsoft's approval process the release of the patch took longer on the 360.
