If, like me, you've grown vexed over the incessant giggling of the Mr. T-like Coach or the twangy drawl of Ellis in Left 4 Dead 2, then fear not: Valve's first DLC for the zombie shooter sequel reunites a certain fearsome foursome from the first game.
In "The Passing", the original four survivors -- Zoey, Bill, Louis and Francis -- trek south to meet up with the survivors from L4D2. A new campaign located within the tranquil backwoods of Georgia introduces important plot elements to the survivors' tale, emphasizing the reason for the original four uniting with the new cast to become a raging whirlwind of zombie death.
Doug Lombardi, VP of Marketing at Valve labeled the DLC as "the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story."
...all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign. It will also be a huge offering of new gameplay content, with something new for every game mode plus a new uncommon common and weaponry.
Along with an arrival date set for "early 2010", be on the lookout for additional content and updates for the various game modes that accompany the new campaign, such as new battlegrounds for Survival, Versus and Scavenge modes, along with a brand new co-op "challenge" style of game play.

Yeah, I didn't like the chars in left for dead 2 (cept for coach)..Hopefully when they meet the original cast all of them get killed/turned into zombies you can kill (cept for coach) .So when left for dead 3 comes out they can stick to the original 4 and coach :).
Called it ages ago. Well, not the DLC part, but I always knew the two survivor groups would meet at some point.
