Final Fantasy XIII Sales Numbers

Final Fantasy XIII, which was recently released in Japan (and which one lucky reader has recently won here on No More Game Blogs), has had a phenomenal first day of sales, selling "over 1 million units", according to Square-Enix's sales figures.

This is after they claimed to have shipped 2 million copies of the game to retailers.

In my book, that's an impressive number of copies sold, and this is just PS3 owners, as it isn't releasing on the 360 in Japan.
