Army of Two: the 40th Day Demo Releasing This Week

In two days, on December 17, a playable demo of EA's Army of Two: the 40th Day will be downloadable for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. The demo contains one level of content placed in Shanghai as the aforementioned army, Salem and Rios, are under siege.

"THE 40TH DAY is non-stop action in an explosive Shanghai. The game has been designed with a focus on co-op game play and it has been our goal to refine this core experience in all aspects of the game," said executive producer Reid Schneider. "The demo will give players the opportunity to experience this evolution and the new co-op moves and tactics available to players at any time in the game."

Pre-ordering the game will land you the chance to play an exclusive multiplayer level "Extraction" on day one of release, while the level will not be available to other gamers for one month after release.

A demo for the Playstation Portable version of the game will be releasing on January 7 in North America and January 14 in Europe.
